Investigation Lesson

Lesson Time:
The purpose of Lesson 2 is to help develop and/or recall student ideas about energy and energy transfer in systems. These ideas are specifically applied to the energy in a classroom system so that students can begin to identify and model the energy inputs, interactions, and outputs in their classroom.
What will we do?
Define and revise our classroom energy system model that represents the boundary, components, inputs, and outputs.
Explore the idea of “energy” and how energy is represented in the energy system.
Revisit the anchor schools and update our ideas of how our classroom compares to green school classroom designs.
