Window Lab

How do windows and curtains affect the light and temperature inside a building? In this lab, we’ll use a light bulb to simulate the sun and picture frames to represent single- and double-paned windows. By testing different materials as “curtains,” we’ll measure how the light and temperature readings change depending on the material. This experiment shows how smart window and curtain choices can keep buildings comfortable and energy-efficient.
